Builder, founder, citizen of the universe. Currently on a year-long commit challenge.
Grab time to catch upFrom my birthday on March 21, 2026 to March 21, 2027, I'm pushing myself to hit 100,000 commits in one year — 274 per day, 1,918 per week, and 8,219 per month. The target was 10,000 when I started. I passed it in the second month and raised it. The secret weapon? Claude Code and other AI productivity tools to maximize output across multiple projects simultaneously. For context, a GitClear study of 878,000 developer-years found the median full-time developer ships about 673 commits per year. This page tracks my progress in near-real time.
Through August 2026 this ran alongside a full-time role at Roblox, so the early months are evenings and weekends. Since late August, a fleet of autonomous Claude Code agents has been running continuously against these repos, and their commits are included in these totals.
| Week | Period | Commits | Goal | Pace |

| Month | Period | Commits | Goal | Pace |

By month two, 10,000 commits meant nothing. The new goal is 100,000, and the rules that keep it from being 100,000 pieces of noise.
1,684 commits. 30 days. What actually happened — and a field guide for anyone who wants to try this.
A practical setup guide for running AI-augmented development the way I've been running it during the challenge.

The tools have changed. Have you?
AI development tools have fundamentally changed what a single developer can ship. The 10K Commit Challenge is a public commitment to lean into this new reality — master the tools, build real projects, and track your progress in public.
Fork the open-source tracker, pick your tier, and start shipping. Bookkeeping commits don't count, nothing ships without review. Share weekly with #10KCommit — #100KCommit at the fleet tier.
Learn More Fork TrackerI keep slots open to catch up with old friends and former colleagues. If we've been close in the past and there's something I can help you with, just let me know. A few things I'm always happy to dig into:
Or bring something new.
